When I lived in Taiwan there would be lots of illegal salemen. One day I went to buy some purses on the street in a known
area for good prices. I didn’t buy and decided to go eat lunch with a friend As we were eating lunch trying to decide which vendor
to choose, we could see all of them from the window of the restaurant. We chated a minute and all of them disappeared as they
did not have permits to sell. Today I was in Madrid and the same thing happened. I was walking around the plaza looking at all
the goods for sale and all of the sudden everyone wrapped up their wares and ran away. They had a look out just like there was
in Taiwan to say the police were coming. The first time I was aware that it happened was in Taiwan as I was talking to my girlfriend
and it was so fast I never saw them leave!! Today I saw it happen two times. It was an amazing skill this salesmen had. All the
merchandise was on a blanket. They had a look out. When the signal was given they took the corners the blanket and ran away.
In Spain it is the illegal immigrants from the south of Africa. In Taiwan it was the poor from the little villages. The result is the same
no matter what country you come from and the techniques are the same. A watch dog and run.
